This is a short week. We do not have classes on Thursday and Friday as these are PD days for teachers. Classes will resume on Monday, October 27.Parents please make arrangements to get your child home after a sports trip other than cabs. If a student leaves in a cab, we do not know that they have made it home safely. Picture retakes are happening on Tuesday, October 21.Prom 2026 is hosting a Purdy's fundraiser! If you wish to order anything, you can do so online or ask a grad for an order form. Order forms can be picked up from Ms. MacLean in Room #225! Orders are due November 19, 2025. The Theme for Prom has been decided! It is "A Night on the Bayou"! Think mossy trees, fireflies, and waterlilies. It's going to be a beautiful night! The next Prom Parent Meeting will be on November 18th at 6:30pm in Room 225.The next Student Prom Committee Meeting will be on November 19th at 12:30pm in Room 225.SOS is collecting non-perishable food items for various food banks in Thompson. Bring your items to room 231, 237, 238 or the main office by November 5th. For next week, all food items that are brought to the office will be matched by the admin team. So whether we get 10 or 100 items at the office we will each match that amount.
A recruiter from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will be at RDPC on Monday October 27th, 9:00am to share all CAF opportunities. CAF has over 100 occupations including full-time, part-time, paid education, and Indigenous Programs, which can be found on the Canadian Armed Forces website. The presentation is educational, interactive, and will take approximately 1 hour. There is a sign up sheet in the office.
Vanessa Mosiondz is our Community Connector and she is taking registrations for the Family Pumpkin Painting. There are two possible times.
