Sunday Memo

• February 23 > February 27

  We have an early spring break this year. It starts March 2nd and ends March 6th. Regular classes resume Monday, March 9.

• February 17 > February 21

  Monday is Louis Riel Day. Classes will resume Tuesday, February 17. The yearbook committee is collecting baby photos from this year's graduates. Please email or share your selected photo to mkrentz@mymlake.ca. The photo must be either PG, PNG, HEIC or SVG file formats. The deadline for submissions is April 2, 2026.

• January 26 >> January 30

  Our exams continue with B block happening on Monday. All exams start at 8:45. You can see the exam schedule in the email portion of this memo. Turn around day will be January 30th so there won’t be classes on that day. Second semester begins on Monday, February 2nd.

• January 12 > January 16

  Thompson Music Parents Association will be meeting Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 pm in the ensemble room. All music parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

• January 6 > January 9

  Welcome back! Grade 12 Provincial English exams are taking place this week. Semester 1 Exam Week starts on Friday, January 23.

• December 1 > December 5

  As most of you know, R.D. Parker Collegiate lost Gary Adams on Thursday, November 27th. Mr. Adams was a long-time teacher at our school. This loss has been difficult on both students and staff.

• November 24 > November 28

  Come join us for a festive evening of baking, laughter, and community spirit! We’re excited to host a Christmas Baking Exchange where families can share their favorite holiday treats and make sweet memories together.

• October 20 > October 22

  This is a short week. We do not have classes on Thursday and Friday as these are PD days for teachers. Classes will resume on Monday, October 27.

• June 2 > June 6

  S.O.S. is still running a food drive AND a pet shelter supply drive. You have until Friday, June 6th to donate items. Students: we have only 2 weeks of classes before exams so it’s crunch time. Make sure you work extra hard in the little time we have left.
