There will be an EF Washington-New York Trip Student Meeting at 12:15 in Ms. Jenkins' room on Tuesday, March 18th. If you cannot make it, please email Ms. Jenkins at tjenkins@mysterynet.mb.ca or go to her classroom and fill out your rooming and dietary requests. If you have documents to hand in, please bring them to this meeting.
Grad Hoodies are now available to order. They are $65. Fill out the google order form that was emailed to you and make payment to Ms. Thompson in Room 215. Orders will not be processed without payment. Sample sizes are also available to try on in Ms. Thompson’s room. Orders must be submitted by Thursday, March 27th.
Trekker Days are an experiential learning opportunity that provides youth in Grades 9 to 12 with the chance to explore a vast array of careers in key sectors in Manitoba. In partnership with local industry, participants will be on-site at a variety of workplaces/institutions and participate in career development programming that provides the space for interaction, creativity and curiosity. Those in attendance will have the chance to meet current employees, learn about their workplace, their personal career journeys, the industry as a whole, the opportunities that exist for employment and the education, skills and certifications required for entry. The program is free, and runs from 10:00 am -4:00 pm on March 22, April 26, May 10 and June 14. We have registration forms in the office.
