Good evening everyone,
This is Bonnie Rempel with your Sunday memo for the week of June 17 - 21, 2024, as we start our final exams tomorrow morning at 8:45. I would like to take a moment to thank you for allowing me to be part of your children’s educational journey here at RDPC. This is my final year as principal, as I am heading into retirement. While this is an exciting beginning for me, I will miss my RDPC family and the community of Thompson. Thank you for all of your support over the years. I wish you all the joy and laughter that this life has to offer.
Exam Week
All exams will begin at 8:45am unless your teacher tells you otherwise. It is your responsibility to make alternate arrangements with your teachers if you need to change a date or time of the exam.
- Monday, June 17 Block A Exam
- Tuesday, June 18 Block B Exam
- Wednesday, June 19 Block C Exam
- Thursday, June 20 Block D Exam
- Friday, June 21 Block E Exam
There are only three days left to purchase tickets for the Prom 2024 "Enchanted Forest" event. Tickets can be purchased in Room 223, between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm at the cost of $45 each. Tickets must be purchased before 3:30 on Wednesday, June 19th. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door on the evening of the event.
Parents/guardians of students attending prom, please read the attached list of "Prom Guidelines". If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Horvath at shorvath@mysterynet.mb.ca.

Thank you to all of the parents who have offered planning and fundraising support for Prom 2024 throughout the school year. The big day will be upon us soon!

We will be running two/3-week summer sessions – English, math and science. English and math will run from July 3 – July 21 and science and math will run from August 8 – 25. For additional information, please contact Christine Randell at 204-677-6228.
We are so close to the finish line. I wish you the best of luck this week as you complete your exams and I hope you have a beautiful summer. Graduates, I cannot wait to shake your hand and present you with your well-deserved diploma on June 28…so proud of you all.
