Summer school
As we get ready for the summer months, students may find themselves missing specific courses needed for graduation. Summer school is an excellent opportunity to upgrade marks or earn new credits, but the condensed schedule requires a high level of commitment.
This summer we are offering Grade 9 Math, Grade 9 English, Grade 10 Essentials Math and Grade 10 English. It is not required for students to have taken the courses previously.
There will be ONE session for Summer School at no cost to students- July 2 to 22, 2026:
- It will be held out of the SBO office, 408 Thompson Dr, next to Giant Tiger.
- Cell Phone number is 204-670-3012
Registration Details:
- Students and Family must sign the Participation Agreement and have it returned to Christine in Student Services no later than June 22, 2026.
- Students can only take one course.
- There is a maximum of 15 spots in each subject area.
- Students MUST attend all 15 days, from 9am to 2:30pm. Lunch break, 30 minutes, which is taken at school.
- If a student misses more than three days (or 15 hours of lates) they will be removed from the summer school course.
- Any issues with behaviour may result in the student being sent home for the duration of the day, and this will count as an absence.
