Darilynn Rockwell was the winner of the RD Parker Prom Committee 50/50 draw. The prize was $3000. Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser.

As I mentioned earlier, the second annual Winter Lunch will be happening on December 12th at lunchtime. Students, you can bring family members to this event. There are 100 tickets available and they are sold in the office.

On Dec 17th, Public Health will be conducting a Sexual Health Fair at RDPC. They are planning to have STBBI testing, games, popcorn, a scavenger hunt, and prizes in the forum. This year Public Health is collaborating with the local Manitoba Harm Reduction coordinator and the Keewatinohk Inniniw Minoayawin (KIM) Mobile Outreach team.

We are having issues with cabs and staff leaving the east parking area. The loop is a busy place and drivers in the loop are not letting vehicles enter from east parking. Please note the taxis are often transporting our special needs students, and staff may need to leave for whatever reason. Please be kind and let a vehicle out. This will help everyone get to where they need to be on time and reduce frustration.

On Friday we had a lockdown practice in D block. The practice went smoothly. In the event of a real lockdown, we ask that you do not come to the school, as this may interfere with emergency responders. The school will be in touch with instructions or information when it becomes safe to do so.
