Winter Spirit Week

Hey, R. D Parker students and surrounding communities, get ready for our Holiday Spirit Week happening from December 16 th to December 20th. Celebrate the school spirit by participating in the daily events.

Starting Monday, December 16th , we have Pajama Day. Wear your fuzziest plaid PJ bottoms and a loose sweater, perhaps even bring a candle with a floppy hat! PJ Day is a staple of Spirit Week, so why not participate in some laid-back fun?

On Tuesday, December 17th , we have Beach Day. It’s pretty bizarre to wear swim trunks and flip flops in the middle of December, right? Well, that’s what makes it fun! Bring a floatie or a surfboard if you have one, the brownie points would definitely be worth it.

The third day (Dec 18th) is Wacky Tacky Wednesday! Dress in your most absurd outfits and wear them to showcase R.D Parker’s creativity. It you want to be bold with questionable wardrobe choices, or simply recycle your awesome Halloween costume, this would be your day.

Thursday, December 19th is Full on Festive Day! Do you come from a family that defrosts Mariah Carey as soon as Halloween’s done? Then, today would be the day where you can dress up to show some Hardcore Holiday spirit. But Full on Festive day isn’t just about Christmas, whether you’re celebrated Hanukah, Kwanza, Omisoka, or Yule, don’t be afraid to get in on a little Holiday cheer by adding your own twist.

Finally, December 20th , the last day of Spirit Week will be Ugly Christmas Sweater Day. If you have one one Grandma knitted for you, we’d love to see it! The tackier the better! We’ll end of 2024 with a day of fun, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s going on with NISA day.
