Sunday Memo

• January 20 > January 24

  The cafeteria is closed this week as students are preparing for exams. RD Parker exam week starts on Friday, January 24th. A block classes have their exam on Friday, B block on Monday, C block on Tuesday, D block on Wednesday, and E block on Thursday. There is no school for students on January 31, but students are welcome to come to the school for schedule changes.

• January 13 > 17

  RD Parker exam week starts on January 24th. You can view the schedule on the main page of the school website.

• January 6 > 10

  Classes resume tomorrow, which is Monday, at our regular time of 8:45. The Gr. 12 English provincial exam starts this Tuesday, January 7. ALL Gr. 12 English students start their exam at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday and write during the morning. The remainder of the exam will be written Wednesday through Friday during the regularly scheduled English class time slot.

• December 16 > 20

  Next week at RDPC we are getting festive. Spirit Squad is running a spirit week. Students who dress up and participate in the assembly earn points for their grade in our yearly Grade Wars challenge.

• December 9 > 13

  Keep your eyes peeled for the R.D Parker Collegiate Winter Concert coming up next Wednesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the RDPC Letkemann Theatre. The second annual Winter Lunch will be happening on December 12th at lunchtime. Students, you can bring family members to this event. There are 100 tickets available and they are sold in the office.

• December 2 > 6

  The second annual Winter Lunch will be happening on December 12th at lunch. This is where students can bring their family. We will sell tickets again this year (only 100 will be available). They will be $10 each and the meal will included Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, drink and dessert. Tickets will be sold in the front office starting Monday.

• November 25 > 29

  Junior Varsity Girls basketball try outs will begin Monday at 5:30 pm and will continue Tuesday at 5:30 pm and Wednesday at 7:15 pm. Any grade 9-10 girls are welcome to try out.

• November 18 > 22

  Sunday memo for the week of November 18-22. Midterm report cards will NOT be mailed out this year due to the postal strike. Report cards can still be viewed electronically on Parent and Student Connect.

• June 17 > June 21

  This is Bonnie Rempel with your Sunday memo for the week of June 17 - 21, 2024, as we start our final exams tomorrow morning at 8:45. I would like to take a moment to thank you for allowing me to be part of your children’s educational journey here at RDPC. This is my final year as principal, as I am heading into retirement.
